City of Ember is about people who live underground and start to run out of food and lightbulbs. They try to find their way up to land.
I thought this book was very interesting but confusing. I would recommend this book to anyone. It was really good. It had a lot of mysteries that don’t get finished in the first book so if you want to, read on!
