Frannie is 11, with a sweet brother and a bossy mother, and a mysterious sister who’s going to change the world. She lives in 1962, around the time of the Cuban Missile Crisis. The book is interspersed with photographs, biographies, and song lyrics from that age of terror.
This book was AMAZING! It captivated me from start to finish, with photographs and ironic song lyrics. I hated Frannie’s mothers, though.
